Carla Andrade

Vigo, Spain photographer Carla Andrade’s “Paisaxe Suspendida,” or “Suspended Landscape” in English, is a documentary and experimental project about mountains. Andrade’s mission was to search for a coherence between feeling and appearance of nature by focusing the emotions in specific locations. Her perception of mountains is a pictorial aesthetic of stone giants that are icons of spiritual elevation; sacred subjects throughout history.
