House In Asamayama

The House In Asamayama is a rectangular studio perched on a steep incline, which overlooks a seas of trees towards Mount Asama in Japan. Designed by Kidosaki Architects Studio, the studio is fixated with walls of glass that separate the private bedrooms from the the public areas and wooden planks that wrap the exterior of the dwelling to create a dialogue with its natural environment. Too bad this kind of studio would never fit in San Francisco!
