Diving Into an Active Volcano with a GoPro

GoPro continues its quest for reaching uncharted places as Sam Cossman and George Kourounis are guided by volcanic pioneers Geoff Mackely and Brad Ambrose to become among the first explorers to step foot inside the world’s most dangerous and inaccessible volcano, Marum Crater, Vanuatu. Kourounis apparently got so close to the mouth of the south pacific lava geyser that it melted a hole into his rain jacket and also part of one of his cameras. Pretty spectacular footage that really stands out as a milestone for captured images.
