I really like when small-time shops take pride in crafting their products with quality materials from the place in which they call their ‘motherland’. And I also really like when clothing companies have a belief – a reason – for making such things. That’s why The Times’ Fall/Winter 2014 lookbook wins so hard. The Los Angeles based clothing company creates their clothes to remind us to live in the present and enjoy today. But most importantly, it has a strong commitment to the outdoors.
For this lookbook titled “These are the Times”, European photographer Cheezy shoots beautiful 35mm shots of a model on a spectacular estate built by Josip Broz Tito in the Southern Alps, which all in all, creates a juxtaposition of the label’s California lifestyle with the raw, outdoorsy environment of New Zealand. The collection is made entirely of 100% GMO-free organic cotton and are available on The Times’ webstore.
