Earlier today, Nike unveiled it’s latest in shoes at the POOL aoyama event in Tokyo, Japan. In collaboration with Fragment Design, the collective showcased the new Nike Sock Dart. When the Sock Dart was first released in the early 2000’s, it was the first shoe to ever use computerized knitting technology. Years later, both Nike and Fragment Design joined forces to collaborate on a couple other shoes – most notably the Air Jordan I Retro andNike Roshe LD-1000 SP. But now, revered designer and style icon Hiroshi Fujiwara’s latest work puts Nike in a whole ‘nuther category of fashion and form.
