While I’ve had my fair share as a fashion photographer, I always become envious when I see a good editorial featuring fantastic fashion photography. The amount of creativity and professionalism a photographer must have to not only envision the perfect environment for the group of images, but also direct the model in a comfortable and logical way is immense. And that’s why I stick to writing about it rather than do it.
My next fascination comes thanks to the latest editorial by Henrik Purienne for the MMLE Clothing Spring/Summer 2015 lookbook featuring model Cailin Russo. In it, Russo elegantly ventures around an undisclosed Mediterranean-looking coastal town in various outfits by MMLE Clothing. There’s some black and white images, but most are filled with color to contrast the casual elegance of the outerwear collection.
