Unfortunately, everyone’s dream of owning a Land Rover Defender has gotten a bit more out of reach since Jaguar Range Rover has called an end to the manufacturing of all Defenders this year. But the WWII-born tank of a vehicle is not going away quietly. The Defender is getting two special Limited Edition treatments this year: Heritage and Adventure. The former is especially exciting since the model is fitted with Jaguar Land Rover’s 2.2 litre 4-pot turbo diesel and comes in a two-tone color combination containing the original Grasmere Green with an Alaska White roof and matching steel wheels. It’s the only way the creators could improve the performance of the vehicle without compromising the model’s iconic look. Sounds pretty awesome to me!
