Feature Film: “The Fishman’s Son” – A Surfer’s Story by Chris Malloy & Patagonia

In conjunction with outdoor clothing brand Patagonia, director Chris Malloy (180° South) tells the story of Ramón Navarro, a the third generation Chilean wetsuit-less surfer, whose purpose is to protect his beloved home waters of Punta de Lobos from commercial development in the film “The Fisherman’s Son”. The 30-minute film takes us on a journey through Navarro’s adolescence to him becoming one of the most fearless giant wave surfers out there today. Navarro’s story is one we, even in a metropolis like San Francisco, can relate to. Watch the entire documentary below:
